QA Tester

We are looking for a dedicated QA tester to be responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The QA tester at Product Hive works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code.

Responsibilities

  • Executes test cases under varying circumstances
  • Documents and evaluates test results
  • Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches 
  • Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
  • Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
  • Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of QA testing experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Great eye for details and solid analytical skills
  • Proficient in test management software
  • Experience using web-based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver)
  • Experience using project tracking software is considered a strong asset (ex: Trello)
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Ability to solve and understand complex problems
  • Determination and tenacity to commit to the end when solving issues
